THe modern sailor will encounter Mermaids off the coast of France, Portugal, post Soviet Russia, Israel, Mexico, USA, New Zealand, most of the Caribbean, Unsurprisingly, some of these countries follow the tradition of expectant women swimming with dolphins. It has been observed that Dolphins are able to communicate with each other by telepathy. This also includes communicating with human beings and especially expecting mothers. The upshot is that the dolphins are able to influence the course of the pregnancy in a way that replaces the fearfulness of labour with confidence to make the right decisions at the appropriate times. What did the sailors of old witness? just that women swimming with dolphins., an easy mistake.
