The unadulterated Adult

Achieving the age of 21 is sometimes regarded as The Rite of Passage from adolescence to adulthood. Could be a celebration held with the family and peers that makes this age significant. Generally the word right signifies a formal (religious) ceremony like baptism or marriage but with religion playing a smaller part in the daily life it is sometimes hard to recognise that we have achieved our majority.  The transition from adolescence to adulthood at the age of 21 is regarded as the time established aims goals and ambitions,    With human rights enshrined in law young men and women are free to live grow and learn without disadvantages derived from class colour or creed. The expectation is that we enjoyed a level of fairness and acceptance into the wider society.   Socially it’s not always as comfortable as we would like and we encounter experiences of greed, avarice and jealousy from which we have the choice to objective or subjective. The use of positive affirmation in such circumstances helps us to have truly earned our Rite of Passage         These these affirmations can help-

I respect myself when i act in good grace,                                   When i can fairly i gain respect, honesty is the best practice.      My standards and code of ethics strong and universally respected by others and I resist all temptations,          I am honourable,  My knowledge and understanding gives me control over my rashness I stay cool and keep my head. I have the Rite of passage

The greatest joy comes with the appreciation and realisation that I have the willingness to work patiently with others. The development of  partnership, brotherhood, and  honesty are the building blocks of my self-esteem, I have  learnt to stand up for myself, negotiate, and manage difficulties.
